Hey! Here's your quiz on the common patterns using real songs. First, you'll hear a tonicization of the key (1353171). You may want to sing the tonicization to get your head in the key. Then, listen and choose the answer that contains the correct common pattern.
Note: In the patterns, each note may have multiple syllables on it. For example, if you hear 55332221, that's just the pattern 5321.
The “Real Songs” quizzes will be challenging. They'll push you to your limit, but don't give up! Really think about each question, and don't be afraid to use your piano or the “hints” to help you out.
If you're still having trouble, no problem! I made a video on using “Clues” to narrow down the notes and figure them out easier. Some of the clues may not make sense yet, but you'll learn them all as you go through the program.
