I want to teach you how to cut your practice time in half. And double your results.
Sounds crazy, right? It's not.
If you're using pure repetition as a practice strategy, trust me, you can learn stuff wayyy faster.
I still remember the first time my friend showed me the Rhythms Strategy. And I learned a difficult passage in a song in record time. And then it clicked.
I can learn anything fast. Everything has a practice strategy. A specific technique that'll allow you to learn it much faster.
I call them Accelerated Learning Techniques. And trust me, they'll change the way you look at practicing forever. Let's get started.
How Accelerated Learning Techniques Actually Work
Key Points:
1. There are practice strategies (similar to Acronyms or Flashcards, but for piano) that can help you learn music MUCH faster than pure repetition alone.
2. Goal setting is HUGE. Setting proper goals is the single most important lesson in the Accelerated Learning Course. Don't skip this one!
3. Don't simply watch the videos. Take something simple, like a C Major Scale, and sit down to practice it right away.
Where to Go From Here:
Start going through the next lessons. Watch a lesson, and then sit down at the piano and start practicing the new techniques. I promise that you'll be surprised at the amount of progress you can make in a short amount of time.
So go on to the next couple lessons. Don't skip the one on Goal Setting! It's not the most exciting lesson, but I promise you it'll really help you organize your practice sessions for maximum results.
Then, the next couple lessons after that will be more fun. Practice them with a scale or a song you're working on.
See ya in the next lesson,
-Zach
Zach helped me correct my approach to practicing. I loved everything about PSH, it is a very well thought out and prepared course. Thanks Zach.
